The screenshot above is a great example of the accuracy and attention to detail the Paladin POS software offers. The same item (yellow wire nut) is rung up 4 times and 4 different quantities are entered for this example. The price breaks are displayed on-screen below the item's description. Cashiers can easily see if a price break is available and, if so, tell the customer at what quantity level they will receive it. Buying 99 wire nuts will cost the customer $3.96 at a price of exactly 4 cents per piece. By letting the customer know there is a price break available should they buy 1 more wire nut saves them money and improves your customer service. [
The Paladin POS software features a powerful and accurate pricing engine that makes customizing pricing levels a breeze. The ability to set multiple pricing levels for every inventory item is a feature that is not available in many point of sale software packages. The Paladin POS system, however, is able to handle this advanced customization with ease and efficiency. [
The Paladin POS software shows an item's price on-screen accurate to 2 decimal places (to the penny). If the price shown isn't the exact price a ~ (tilde) is displayed which signifies an approximate amount. That is the case with the last two lines in the sample invoice above. If 1,000 wire nuts are purchased the price per case is $34.99, but the price per unit is $0.03499 which is approximately $0.03 when calculate to the penny. The approximate amount is shown on-screen but when calculated the exact amount ($0.03499) is used to determine the total amount due, ensuring accuracy and no loss in revenue to your store. In addition, the customer’s invoice displays a price of $34.99/1,000 [
